Titled Provence Lavender & Matcha Garden Afternoon, this immersive gathering unites the timeless elegance of French Provencal floral aesthetics with the refined craft of premium ceremonial matcha—marking the official launch of our brand-new signature 6A ceremonial matcha range to UK tea enthusiasts.
Curated for lovers of slow living, delicate botanicals and sophisticated tea culture, this intimate workshop offers London guests a rare chance to blend hands-on floral creativity with a guided deep dive into high-grade matcha tasting, set within a sun-dappled botanical space in Camberwell. Welcoming small groups only, the event prioritises quiet connection, sensory pleasure and bespoke, shareable moments away from the bustle of city life.

Scheduled to unfold on Sunday 12 July 2026, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at 8 Flora’s studio space (1 Addington Square, London SE5 7JZ), the afternoon follows a thoughtfully structured flow designed to balance relaxation, creation and education:

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with house cold-brewed tea and artisanal seasonal sweet bites, a gentle opening to settle into the laid-back Provencal atmosphere.
2:15 PM | Guided Ceremonial Matcha Tasting
Our Tea Story specialists will lead an exclusive tasting session focused on our newly released 6A ceremonial matcha. Attendees will explore the powder’s distinct terroir, delicate flavour profiles and traditional preparation techniques, learning to recognise the subtle, layered notes that define premium-grade matcha.
2:45 PM | French Garden Floristry Workshop
Led by the professional florists of 8 Flora, participants will design and assemble their own custom seasonal flower baskets, filled with a curated palette of lavender, soft pink roses, creamy lisianthus and deep purple scabious—evoking the iconic wildflower landscapes of the South of France. All floral materials, tools and aftercare guidance will be fully provided for every guest.
4:30 PM | Signature Lavender Matcha Service
